PUBLICATION — ECHOS, 2021–2025
Through form, color, and material, I work to remove the photographer’s subjectivity, allowing the lens to engage directly with the essence of objects. Observation comes before the act of photographing—paying attention to subtle shifts in everyday items and bringing the hidden or “invisible” qualities of daily life into focus.
In still life, beauty resides in details: textures, reflections, and imperfections that anchor an image in reality. Through close-up and macro perspectives, I reveal an object’s intrinsic language. I avoid narrative structure, relying instead on intuition to preserve purity. As a poet uses language to express emotion, I use photography to capture raw, unfiltered presence.
“Echos” arises from observing relationships between subjects. Like reverberations traveling through space, each object reflects variations of a shared essence. All things echo one another; every disappearance suggests renewal. What remains endures—not by force, but by resonance.
